My Favorite Facial Trio

Ladies and maybe some gents, admit it! Our faces are one of our most prominent features. For many of us it can be our a beautiful smile, lovely eyes or just that pure radiance or glow on our skin. In contrast, many of us also struggle with some common types of skin problems: dryness, oily skin, blemishes, and/or fine lines and wrinkles. Furthermore, we purchase products to reduce and or eliminate these problems.

At some point, Many of us have tried a number of products that promise to minimize, reduce, or clear up some of these problems. And many unfortunately just didn’t measure up to the claims. In addition, they were loaded with chemicals or ingredients that we can barely pronounce or even knew what they are. I don’t know about you but I just couldn’t keep putting all that stuff on my face!

As a result, I do what I always do. I do some research and find another solution. And that my friends is exactly what I found, another solution!

THE FACE TRIO that I absolutely love!

The Face Trio is:

  • Face wash
  • Scrub
  • Serum

I use this trio in the order above (wash, scrub, serum) twice a day.

My skin problems Include:

  • Oily skin that is blemish prone
  • Enlarged pores
  • Dark spots from aging and sun
  • Ageing, fine lines and wrinkles

My improvements from this trio:

  • Cleaned and minimized my pores
  • lightened my dark spots
  • Decreased the number of blemishes

Not only does my skin looks and feel smoother, it actually has a healthy glow and is brighter! I guess you could say more radiant! 🙂

*Note: This trio does bring the impurities to the surface and for someone who has always had a good daily regime, I was surprised at what was still hanging out in my pores! Yuck!

RECIPES

1. Calming Foaming Face Wash from Aromatherapy 4 Mom

awesome natural face wash with essential oils!

2. Baking soda scrub from Alluringsoul

Ingredients

Steps

  • Take a bowl and combine all the ingredients and mix well. Store it in an airtight glass container for future use.
  • You can keep this scrub for a couple of months but do not let water to go inside the container as it can spoil the mixture.
  • There is no need to store it in a refrigerator as this will harden the coconut oil. It’s better to keep the container at normal room temperature.

How to apply

  • First, wash your skin with soap or body wash and rinse it well. If possible have a hot water bath or shower. Hot water will open up your pores, making your skin much more susceptible to cleaning.
  • Apply a sufficient amount of scrub to wet skin over your entire body, massaging in a circular motion for 5-10 minutes to allow the granules to remove dead skin cells. Finally, rinse it off well. This makes your skin look and feels refreshed and healthy.
